The original Tory Christopher Group was founded in 1996 in Hollywood, CA and housed at the corner of Hollywood Boulevard and Cahuenga Boulevard in the Historic Raymond Chandler Square.

Known for “Hip, Cool & Quirky”,  TCG spanned nine years in Hollywood, from 1996 through 2004, placing actors on such shows as “E.R.”, “Gilmore Girls”, “Malcolm In The Middle”,  “8 Simple Rules”, “Scrubs”, “Boston Public”,  “Phil Of The Future”, “Lizzie Maguire”, “That’s So Raven”, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”, “MTV’s Undressed”, “Judging Amy”, “The Practice” and “King of Queens”.

TCG’s commercial department booked actors on dozens of national, regional and international television ads, most notably “Tide”, “Pepsi Cola”, “Nike”, “Mountain Dew”, “McDonald’s”, “American Airlines”, “Budweiser”, “Sony – Playstation”, “Sony – iPod”, “Prince Matchabelli”, “Jack In The Box”, “Chevrolet”, and the “Philip Morris: Anti-Smoking Campaigns”.

From 2005 through 2008, Mr. Christopher concentrated his efforts on independent film making, commercial industrial film directing and casting.

Settling now in San Antonio, Texas, Christopher established TCI – Tory Christopher International Talent Agency as of 11-11-11.

 

 TORY CHRISTOPHER BIO

Tory Christopher is an award winning independent feature film writer/director and partner at Eleven Eleven Pictures.  He has also directed commercial industrial films and served as an independent casting director for commercials, industrials and  short film projects.

Additionally, he has directed several stage productions as well as the television pilot “To Pay The Rent”.

Prior to directing, Christopher spent 9 years as a talent agent representing television actors on such shows as “Gilmore Girls”, “Malcolm In The Middle”,  “8 Simple Rules”, “Scrubs”, “Boston Public”,  “Phil Of The Future”, “Lizzie Maguire”, “That’s So Raven”, “Buffy The Vampire Slayer”, “MTV’s Undressed”, “The Practice” and “King of Queens”.

He began as a young actor himself, spending 4 ½ years in a recurring role on “Days Of Our Lives” [1992-1996] and 3 seasons on “Star Trek: Deep Space 9” as science officer Paxton Reese.  He was also a professional skater for the Los Angeles Thunderbirds (Roller Games), a radio air personality and competitor in the NASCAR Whelen All-American Series.

Christopher has now settled in San Antonio and remains a partner in Eleven Eleven Pictures as well as running his Texas based talent agency.
